Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams accurately and with patient-centered care
• Position patients and equipment safely to capture high-quality images
• Follow imaging protocols and maintain radiation safety for patients and staff
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure comfort and understanding
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any issues to biomedical or leadership promptly
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and departmental records
• Participate in orientation and training to uphold the facility’s standards of care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program or equivalent
• ARRT certification (or working toward) and current state licensure as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong patient care skills with attention to safety and infection control
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with common radiographic equipment and positioning techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and dose reduction strategies
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record documentation
• Ability to handle pediatric and adult patients with compassion and patience
• Good time management skills to deliver efficient, quality imaging services
• Comfort working in a multidisciplinary care environment
