Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered physical therapy interventions that restore function and improve quality of life
Assess, plan, and document individualized treatment plans with clear goals and measurable outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and long-term mobility strategies
Participate in orientation and onboarding activities to integrate smoothly with facility workflows

Qualifications

Valid Washington state Physical Therapy license (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality
Comfort with documentation and working within established clinical protocols
Prior experience in an acute care or rehab setting is a plus

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited physical therapy degree

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and mobility training
Ability to perform thorough patient evaluations and develop effective treatment plans
Familiarity with safety precautions and mobility assistive devices
Good clinical reasoning and charting/documentation practices
Comfort collaborating with nurses, physicians, and rehab aides
