Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clinical needs, strengths, and risk factors — your assessments guide personalized care.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and presentation.
Deliver therapeutic interventions across the lifespan for depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and adjustment disorders.
Collaborate with primary care providers, nurses, and behavioral health team members to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
Maintain timely, accurate patient documentation and case coordination to support continuity and quality of care.
Advocate for and engage patients from rural and underserved communities, helping remove barriers to care and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Active LISW license in Iowa (required)
Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program (required)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical social work experience preferred
Experience in rural or medically underserved settings is a plus
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and psychosocial evaluation
Treatment planning and delivery of evidence-based therapies
Behavioral health care across the lifespan
Experience with substance use, trauma, depression, and anxiety interventions
Interdisciplinary collaboration within integrated care teams
Accurate clinical documentation and case coordination
