Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MRI scanners (Signa Artist 1.5T) to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform patient screenings and ensure safety protocols for MRI procedures are strictly followed
• Document exams accurately using Meditech and Centricity PACS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize imaging workflows
• Provide compassionate patient care, including safe patient transport when needed
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond promptly during assigned call weeks

Qualifications

• Valid MRI license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience (as listed)
• Familiarity with Signa Artist 1.5T MRI equipment
• Experience using Meditech and Centricity PACS (documentation and image routing)

Knowledge & Skills

• Standard MRI technical skills and safety practices
• Hands-on experience with Signa Artist 1.5T
• Meditech documentation workflow
• Centricity PACS and general PACS image management
• Patient transport and safe handling procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork in a busy hospital radiology environment
