Roles & Responsibilities

• Assure patients’ drug therapy needs are met by reviewing and managing medication regimens
• Oversee drug distribution processes, including unit dose and IV admixture preparation and checks
• Provide clinical pharmacy services in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams
• Deliver teaching and training to staff and learners to advance pharmacy practice
• Perform administrative duties and support regulatory compliance with state and federal laws
• Plan and conduct research activities to improve medication use and patient outcomes
• Utilize computer systems to document, track, and optimize medication therapy and distribution

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital pharmacy settings — hospital experience required (not just retail)
• Familiarity with unit dose systems, IV admixtures, and drug distribution workflows
• Comfortable with clinical pharmacy practice and technical pharmacy operations
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with pharmacy information systems
• Self-directed professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to teach, perform administrative duties, and participate in research
• Knowledgeable about compliance with applicable State and Federal healthcare regulations
