Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Monitor and titrate critical medications such as Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
- Support postpartum recovery and educate new parents on newborn care
- Circulate during C-sections to ensure safe delivery for baby
- Collaborate with a tight-knit rural care team to deliver exceptional outcomes
- Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when extra hands are needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience
- Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited resources
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Proficient with OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system
- Experience managing neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to pass N95 fit testing or work cleanly shaven
