Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents during ERCP procedures to treat bile and pancreatic duct issues
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound processors while assisting with fine needle aspiration tools for EUS tissue biopsies
• Set up advanced electrocautery equipment, injection needles, and snares for EMR/ESD procedures removing complex polyps
• Handle specialized balloon catheters for enteroscopy procedures visualizing and treating the small bowel
• Assist with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup for endolumenal surgery cases
• Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes following SGNA and manufacturer standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska or compact license
• Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced GI procedures
• Experience with ERCP, EUS, and other specialized endoscopy procedures preferred
• Ability to pass skills exam with 90% score during orientation
• Commitment to maintaining natural nails per facility policy

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced knowledge of ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery procedures
• Proficiency with specialized GI equipment including imaging catheters, ultrasound processors, and electrocautery devices
• Understanding of scope reprocessing standards and high-level disinfection protocols
• Strong technical skills for troubleshooting complex endoscopy equipment
• Excellent attention to detail for patient safety during advanced procedures
