Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
Independently manage patient assignments while supporting teammates as backup
Titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips with precision and safety
Monitor fetal strips and maternal cardiac rhythms using centralized systems
Float to other units as a helping hand when census changes
Deliver compassionate care during both busy rushes and quiet moments

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
Ability to work independently across all areas with minimal supervision
Comfortable floating and adapting to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

Confident with AWHONN staffing guidelines and fetal monitoring
Skilled in stabilizing neonates and using Bubble CPAP
Ready to handle both high-volume and low-census shifts with flexibility
Team-oriented with excellent communication and backup support skills
