Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Nights: Friday/Saturday, Days: Saturday/Sunday), may include on-call/standby with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond quickly to any changes using advanced EFM technology
Titrate medications like Pitocin and support safe, healthy deliveries
Respond confidently to newborn emergencies with NRP skills and assist in stabilizing little ones
Collaborate with OB physicians, anesthesia, and the care team to ensure smooth deliveries
Float to other Sacramento facilities when needed and support the broader healthcare community

Qualifications

Active California RN license
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced EFM certifications required
At least 1 year of LDRP experience (3 years preferred)
Comfortable catching babies and providing full-spectrum labor and delivery care
Willing to work rotating weekends and occasional on-call shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring and LDRP expertise
Ability to titrate drips and manage high-risk deliveries
Experience with OR circulating for C-sections is a plus
Excellent communication and quick decision-making under pressure
Team player who can float between facilities and support colleagues
