Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care that promotes comfort and enhances quality of life for residents
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching, training, and education on proper nursing techniques
Deliver safe, professional care following facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
Coordinate individualized plans of care that respect each resident's dignity and choices
Maintain strong assessment skills and ensure accurate, timely medication administration
Champion safety protocols and infection control standards to protect residents, visitors, and staff

Qualifications

Current Alaska LPN licensure required
BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association required
1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with 8-12 month preceptorship support

Education

Associate's degree in nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Leadership ability to guide and support nursing assistants
Commitment to resident-centered care and dignity
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to safety and infection control practices
