Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old in a fast-paced Med Surg ICU
Titrate and manage critical drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Monitor and interpret telemetry using Draeger heart monitoring with centralized telemetry
Collaborate with attendings, fellows, and residents to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to inpatient units as needed while maintaining excellence in every assignment
Respond to Rapid Response Teams and Codes alongside the Charge Nurse

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-acuity settings
Experience with neuro, cardiac, and multi-system organ failure patients
Comfort managing advanced lines and equipment including CVPs, A-lines, Swans, ICP monitoring, and EV-1000
Willingness to learn real-time procedures such as CRRT, Impella, balloon pump, and hypothermia protocols
Positive attitude, team collaboration, and a genuine desire to support colleagues and learners
