Location: Garrison, North Dakota

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse overseeing daily operations and resident care
Administer medications safely and accurately to residents
Provide skilled wound care and monitor healing progress
Coordinate with physicians via phone for after-hours needs
Ensure compassionate, individualized care for residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required
Prior long-term care experience preferred
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and documentation skills
Wound care experience
Comfortable working independently as charge nurse
Excellent communication with residents, families, and the care team
Familiarity with Matrix EMR a plus
