Surgical Tech - CVOR
Location: Silverdale, Washington
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday through Friday, varied 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with flexible start times; block scheduling available
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure seamless patient care during complex cases
- Support robotics procedures and participate in on-call rotations to cover emergencies
- Float to Main OR when needed and contribute to a dynamic, multi-specialty environment
Qualifications
- Active Washington state license as a Surgical Tech
- Current BLS certification
- Robotics experience preferred but not required - training available
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in high-acuity surgical settings
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Experience with cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic cases
- Ability to respond to 30-minute call requirements
- Flexibility to work varied shift lengths and participate in call rotations
