Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics with confidence and precision
Monitor and interpret telemetry independently while delivering safe, patient-centered care
Collaborate with respiratory therapists and the care team to manage vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities in need while maintaining excellent clinical standards
Mentor and support newer nurses during orientation and daily practice

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
Epic experience strongly preferred
Comfortable floating between ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care assessment and drip titration skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different facilities and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary units
Comfort reading and interpreting telemetry strips independently
Flexibility with scheduling and floating requirements
