Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with 1x/week weeknight call and 1 weekend/month call (Friday evening through Monday AM)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during a wide range of cardiac and interventional procedures
Assist with STEMI cases and emergent interventions in a high-acuity environment
Support conscious and moderate sedation under RN direction while ensuring patient safety
Manage airway support and administer cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
Operate fluoroscopy equipment and maintain accurate procedural documentation
Collaborate with the Lead Tech on room assignments and case flow efficiency

Qualifications

ARRT certification required
Current California Fluoroscopy license required
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of recent Cath Lab experience
Comfortable with conscious sedation, procedural processes, airway management, and cardiac drips
Experience with balloon pumps preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac and coronary interventions
Vascular and peripheral procedures
General IR and neuro intervention techniques
Hemodynamic monitoring and conscious sedation support
Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety
Balloon pump management
