Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with 1x/week weeknight call and 1 weekend/month call (Friday evening through Monday AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Assist with coronary, peripheral, neuro, and EP interventions
- Support conscious and moderate sedation under RN supervision
- Manage airway and administer cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
- Operate balloon pumps and maintain procedural equipment
- Collaborate with the Lead Tech on room assignments and case flow
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- Current California Fluoroscopy license
- BLS certification
- Minimum one year of recent Cath Lab experience
- Comfortable with STEMI cases and emergent procedures
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac and coronary interventions
- Vascular and peripheral procedures
- General IR and neuro interventions
- Conscious and moderate sedation protocols
- Airway management and cardiac drip administration
- Balloon pump operation
