Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs with attention to detail
- Assist RNs and the care team with assessments, care plans, and procedures
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support patient education and promote comfort, dignity, and safety
- Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and compliance
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain) — required
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and a team-first mindset
- Previous clinical experience as an LPN preferred
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic wound care and dressing changes
- Proficiency with vital signs, patient assessments, and charting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Infection control practices and patient safety principles
