Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform routine assessments and promptly report changes in condition
- Document care thoroughly and maintain clear patient records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and follow care plans
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions to ensure continuity
- Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (Pennsylvania license preferred)
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Previous LPN clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic medical records or charting systems
- Infection prevention and safety procedures
- Compassionate patient care and strong interpersonal skills
