Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care with attention to safety and dignity
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and policy
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care planning and positive outcomes
- Monitor patient status and escalate concerns to RN/physician as appropriate
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection-control protocols
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (LPN) in good standing
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of basic nursing principles and medication administration
- Comfort with direct patient care, including ADLs and vital signs
- Accurate documentation and charting skills
- Teamwork and effective communication with patients, families, and staff
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic clinical environment
