Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients within scope of LPN practice
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
• Support patient comfort and safety through timely interventions and communication
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records and handoffs
• Participate in unit initiatives and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (must be active and in good standing) — Georgia licensure preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Demonstrated clinical competency and ability to provide safe patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused with good time management

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN program completion)
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational nursing assessment and clinical monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care, IV site observation, and infection control principles
• Charting and electronic health record familiarity (comfort with computer documentation)
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
