Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly
- Document clinical care and patient interactions clearly and timely
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support patient comfort, education, and discharge planning efforts
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of practice (Georgia if working at this facility)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
- Clinical experience as an LPN preferred; new grads may be considered
- Strong assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Reliable, team-oriented mindset with a patient-first attitude
Education
- Completed accredited Practical Nursing / LPN program or diploma
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Patient assessment and monitoring vital signs
- Clear, empathetic communication with patients and families
- Accurate electronic or paper charting and care documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Team collaboration and following established clinical protocols
