Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team promptly
- Document patient care thoroughly and maintain clear charts
- Collaborate with nurses, clinicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives on the unit
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort and ability to work 12.5-hour shifts as part of the care team
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamentals of patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic wound care and infection control procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical record charting
- Teamwork, time management, and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
