Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care as a Licensed Practical Nurse on a 12.5-hour shift
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, documenting per facility policy
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Support patient comfort and dignity — engage with patients and families with empathy
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (eligible to practice in Georgia)
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused hospital environment
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
Education
- LPN diploma or practical nursing program graduate
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Vital signs assessment and basic patient monitoring
- Wound care basics and common clinical procedures for LPN practice
- Electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity — quick learner if system is new
- Time management skills for busy 12.5-hour shifts
