Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts (schedule varies; days and specific start/end times assigned based on facility needs)
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes promptly
- Document care clearly in the medical record and communicate with the care team
- Collaborate with nursing staff and leadership to ensure continuity of care
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Participate in orientation and follow facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Pennsylvania required
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtain upon hire if required by facility)
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic IV/clinical skills appropriate to LPN scope
- Resident assessment and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Ability to triage and escalate patient concerns appropriately
- Time management and the ability to work independently on per diem shifts
