Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed (Total hours per shift: 8). Start date available: 2026-04-07.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with facility policies
- Participate in shift handoffs and communicate clearly with families and staff
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable administering medications and following established care plans
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Positive work history in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
Education
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma or certificate from an accredited program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamentals of medication administration and documentation
- Basic clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Electronic or paper charting familiarity
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
