Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on assigned 8-hour shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely per provider orders
- Monitor, record and communicate patient vital signs and clinical changes
- Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort measures
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in the medical record
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited LPN/LVN program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid medication administration and basic nursing care skills
- Ability to perform accurate patient assessments and recognize changes
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
- Good time management and prioritization in busy clinical environments
- Professional bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
