Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care that promotes comfort and enhances residents' quality of life
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching, training, and education on proper nursing techniques
Deliver safe, professional care following facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
Coordinate primary care and follow each resident's individual plan of care with attention to detail
Practice the Choices Philosophy of Care by treating every resident with dignity and respect
Maintain strong assessment skills and ensure accurate, timely administration of medications and orders
Uphold rigorous safety standards and infection control protocols to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Active Alaska LPN license required
Current American Heart Association BLS (CPR) certification required
1 year of long-term care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with required 8-12 month preceptorship at Heritage Place

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Leadership and staff development abilities
Commitment to patient-centered care and safety culture
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
