Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within your LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately.
• Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support high-quality outcomes.
• Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) and ensure patient comfort and dignity.
• Maintain accurate charts and electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (Pennsylvania licensure preferred or ability to obtain).
• Completion of an accredited practical nurse program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in medication administration and basic nursing procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Prior experience in a similar setting is preferred but motivated new grads are welcome to apply.

Education

• Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program (or equivalent).
• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary LPN credential required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of fundamental nursing principles and LPN scope of practice.
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices.
• Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting.
• Infection control procedures and patient safety standards.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and the care team.
