Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care in accordance with care plans and facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team
- Support patient comfort, basic needs and dignity during each shift
- Collaborate with nurses, aides and therapists to deliver coordinated care
- Participate in unit meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; Pennsylvania licensure expected for this Lancaster position
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
- Comfortable working 8-hour shifts and delivering hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical skills in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Good charting and documentation practices
- Ability to recognize and escalate changes in patient condition
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy care environment
