Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Red Rocks Care Center
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in a timely manner
- Perform routine assessments and report changes in resident condition to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs and other staff to create and follow individualized care plans
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Communicate clearly with residents, families and team members to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — required
- Available for a Monday–Friday block schedule (no weekends required)
- Comfortable working 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM shifts and providing hands-on resident care
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical nursing skills and clinical assessment
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Safe patient handling and assistance with activities of daily living
- Clear communication with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams
- Compassionate bedside manner and resident-centered care
