Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical changes with attention to detail
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the patient record clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to support coordinated care plans
• Support patient comfort, safety, and education; promote dignity and respect in every interaction
• Participate in unit safety, infection control, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia (required) or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on an interdisciplinary team
• Professional, reliable, and committed to patient safety and high-quality care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing (LPN) program; active LPN license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing assessments and basic clinical interventions
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Patient safety principles, infection control, and proper use of PPE
• Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic health record workflows
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
