Location: Columbus, GA

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (shift assignment TBD — day or night)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within your LPN scope
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform routine patient assessments and report changes promptly
- Document patient care clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with RNs, providers and the care team to support positive outcomes
- Assist with procedures, wound care and patient education to promote recovery
- Maintain infection control and safety standards on your shift
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable, professional demeanor and commitment to patient safety
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Patient assessment and basic clinical monitoring
- Wound care and IV/blood draw support as appropriate to scope
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
- Time management and prioritization during 12.5-hour shifts
- Patient education and family communication skills
