Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Las Palomas Ctr
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the care team promptly
Support care planning by communicating observations and participating in shift handoffs
Deliver safe, respectful assistance with activities of daily living
Follow infection control procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — state licensure required
Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing assessments
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Charting and electronic health record (EHR) familiarity
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Time management, prioritization, and team communication
