Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver full-time physical therapy services to a diverse population from pediatric to geriatric clients across orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and wound care
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care, home care, and community outreach in a hospital-based outpatient clinic
• Travel to villages to extend care to remote Alaskan Native communities
• Adhere to Physical Therapy standards, JCAHO, OSHA, and corporate policies while applying age-specific and culturally sensitive care
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, medical staff, and the community as a professional representative of physical therapy

Qualifications

• Licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification required
• Hospital-based experience helpful
• Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program or graduate from accredited program

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact with physicians, staff, clients, and culturally diverse populations including non-English speakers
• Mathematical proficiency for computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems in varied situations with limited standardization
• Language skills to read professional journals, write reports, and present information effectively
