Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care during labor and delivery, supporting mothers through every moment
• Safely receive and transition newborns, performing thorough assessments
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to OB emergencies like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Manage inductions with Pitocin and Cervidil, ensuring smooth procedures
• Provide couplet care and newborn stabilization in a fast-paced LDRP unit
• Collaborate with a seasoned team of expert RNs to create positive patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring Training certifications required
• Comfortable handling high-acuity scenarios including C-sections and emergencies
• Experience with labor, recovery, newborn transition, and assessment

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in fetal monitoring and inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil)
• Proficiency managing shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and OB emergencies
• Skilled in C-sections, vacuum/forceps deliveries, circumcisions, and intrauterine monitoring
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation and CPN central monitoring systems
