Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekends rotating, 36 guaranteed hours

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to MICU patients, managing ventilators, dialysis, and advanced monitoring
Perform life-saving procedures like central line placements, intubations, and cardioversions
Monitor and respond to high-acuity needs using cutting-edge ICU equipment like Arctic Sun and GE monitors
Collaborate with dynamic team for patient-centered care based on acuity and skills
Document precisely in Meditech while floating as needed to support the unit

Qualifications

Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
2+ years MICU/MSICU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CCRN preferred for those ready to shine

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage dialysis, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
Skilled in high-stakes procedures like thoracentesis, cath placements, and bedside interventions
Adaptable to acuity-based assignments and floating as needed
