Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver life-changing respiratory treatments for patients with asthma, pneumonia and emphysema
Master advanced ventilators like Servo I, Hamilton and V60 to optimize patient breathing
Perform critical procedures including ABGs, CPT and nebulizer therapies
Collaborate with physicians in a high-volume unit handling 44-46 procedures per shift
Evaluate and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies in a certified stroke center

Qualifications

2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Active BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications - must haves
Florida RRT license or compact state privileges
Ready to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or higher
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Meditech EMR - highly preferred by director
Trauma experience gives you the edge
Expertise in Servo I ventilators, Hamilton, V60, Astral CPAP/BIPAP
Strong critical thinking for high-acuity respiratory cases
Team player mindset with patient care focus
