Shift Type: 5 days/week (local only; exact days to be scheduled), 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Evening shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, monitor changes, and report concerns promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility assistance with attention to dignity
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate with the care team
Follow care plans and participate in care conferences to improve resident outcomes
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through attentive, respectful care

Qualifications

Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — VT or NH licensure acceptable
Ability to work the 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM evening shift and commit to a 5-day local schedule
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or able to obtain quickly)
Reliable, professional, and able to pass required background checks and screenings
Strong communication skills and a resident-centered approach

Education

Completion of an LNA training program or equivalent certification
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care techniques
Proficient in documenting care and communicating with interdisciplinary teams
Understanding of infection control, safety protocols, and resident rights
Compassionate bedside manner with solid observational skills
Team player who adapts well to facility routines and charting systems
