Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
• Measure and record vital signs and observe changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to promote resident comfort
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow care plans and facility protocols
• Support infection control practices and safe patient handling to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (Class: LNA)
• Ability to work the posted schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, including weekend coverage
• Available for a travel contract assignment from 2026-04-01 through 2026-05-27
• Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements prior to start

Education

• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
• Active LNA certification as required by the facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in providing hands-on resident care and assisting with ADLs
• Knowledge of basic vital signs monitoring and resident observation
• Familiarity with documentation/charting in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with residents and staff
• Understanding of infection control and safe patient handling principles
• Compassionate approach to resident-centered care and dignity
