Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as bathing, grooming, feeding and vital signs
• Document care, observations and changes in resident condition accurately and promptly
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families and the care team to support coordinated care
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility and positioning, using proper body mechanics
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols and facility policies at all times
• Support resident dignity and independence while delivering person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (NH required, ability to obtain if coming from out of state)
• T-LNA credential where applicable
• Weekend availability as required by the rotating schedule
• Must pass facility background checks and required pre-employment screenings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; a positive, resident-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved state LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living and basic bedside care
• Comfortable taking and reporting vital signs and observations
• Familiarity with infection control and resident safety practices
• Basic documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
• Good time management and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal communication
