Location: Brooklyn Park, MD

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Monitor vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report concerns promptly
Document care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to meet each resident’s plan of care
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Support residents’ social and emotional needs and engage them in meaningful activities

Qualifications

Current GNA certification or equivalent in Maryland, or eligible to obtain
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or equivalent
Comfortable with physical requirements of patient care and safe lifting practices
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Accurate charting and basic electronic documentation
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed staff
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
