Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a telemetry unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up care

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) — active license (California license or compact eligibility preferred)
Experience caring for telemetry patients (Telemetry skillset required)
Comfortable working per diem assignments and varying shift schedules
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition
Patient assessment and clinical decision-making on a progressive care unit
IV medication administration and infusion monitoring
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
