Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a certified nursing assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to support treatment plans
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Communicate respectfully with patients and families to support comfort and understanding

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of California (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required depending on facility
• Current TB screening and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required
• Comfortable with lifting/assisting patients and standing for shift duration
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care fundamentals and ADLs
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
• Comfort with mobility assistance and safe patient handling
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting
