Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiographic examinations of all body parts for accurate diagnostic interpretation
Apply professional judgment while upholding radiation protection principles
Perform diagnostic medical radiography across departments and areas
Maintain detailed patient records and files with care
Lead departmental quality assurance efforts
Transfer patients safely to and from radiology
Step up as department lead in supervisor's absence
Pursue ongoing education to stay at the forefront
Assist with invasive procedures and venipuncture
Manage CT equipment care and inventory

Qualifications

Current ARRT in Radiography
Clinical competency within 3 months of hire and every three years
Able to perform all diagnostic exams in assigned modality
Willing to learn additional imaging modalities like XR, MRI, CT, Mammography

Education

ARRT certification in Radiography required; additional ARRT or ARDMS in CT, MR, MG, NM for advanced levels

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in radiographic examination and radiation protection
Patient records management and quality assurance
Shift rotation and on-call responsiveness
Invasive procedures, venipuncture, and sterile technique
Tele-radiology transmission and contrast protocols
Adapting care for patients across all age groups from newborn to geriatric
