Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (12-hour night shifts). Additional schedules may include set 8-hour and 12-hour day/evening shifts (examples: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM); weekends and holiday coverage as posted.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging across a mixed patient population (pediatrics through geriatrics) with attention to safety and detail
• Operate Siemens CT scanners and Bracco contrast injectors efficiently and safely
• Execute CT angiography, cardiac/CTA and perfusion studies as required by the unit
• Perform venipuncture and contrast administration when indicated with strict adherence to protocols
• Provide excellent patient care in high-acuity settings including OR and Level 1 trauma cases
• Document exams accurately in EPIC and image/study management in McKesson PACS
• Float between modalities or campuses as needed (CT, X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound) and help maintain smooth department operations
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering timely, accurate results

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) — Certified Radiologic Technologist required
• BLS (AHA) required
• CT certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (Level 1 trauma experience required)
• Previous travel experience preferred; traveler must be comfortable jumping in and staying busy
• Driver's license required at submittal (used to confirm 50-mile radius eligibility)
• Able to perform venipuncture and handle high-acuity trauma imaging
• Willingness to work nights/weekends/holidays as assigned and adhere to facility policies (including fingernail/appearance rules)
• Candidates may NOT currently be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit facility (including CHI/Dignity)

Education

• ARRT (R) - Certified Radiologic Technologist (required)
• BLS (AHA) (required)
• CT certification (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical record workflows
• Experienced using McKesson PACS for image retrieval and management
• Comfortable operating Siemens imaging equipment and Bracco contrast injectors
• Strong venipuncture skills and contrast administration knowledge
• Experience with CT angiography, cardiac CT and perfusion protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trauma/ER environment and maintain composure
• Excellent communication, teamwork and customer-service orientation
• Clinical prioritization and problem-solving in shifting-priority situations
