Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans using Siemens CT scanners to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate and manage images in Merge PACS and document studies in EPIC with attention to detail
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, following radiation safety protocols and imaging best practices
• Troubleshoot routine scanner/PACS issues and coordinate with engineering or IT as needed
• Participate in the departmental on-call rotation, responding professionally to urgent imaging needs
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to maintain efficient patient flow
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and adhere to facility dress code and parking procedures

Qualifications

• Experience working with Siemens CT scanners and Merge PACS (explicitly requested)
• Comfortable using EPIC for charting and image workflows (explicitly requested)
• On-call availability and flexibility for shift changes, including potential 12-hour rotations
• Current ARRT registration or state equivalent (preferred) and valid state technologist licensure
• Strong patient communication skills and commitment to safety and quality imaging

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology/CT program or equivalent training (typical expectation)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Hands-on experience with Siemens CT platforms
• Working knowledge of Merge PACS and EPIC systems for image management and documentation
• Radiation safety principles and patient positioning expertise
• Ability to troubleshoot imaging workflow issues and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
