Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to patients, treating each person with dignity
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor patient condition by taking vital signs and reporting changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and positioning while promoting patient comfort
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Help keep patient rooms clean and stocked to ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Demonstrated experience in direct patient care at a long-term care or acute care facility is a plus
Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
Comfort working overnight shifts and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling
Good communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Basic familiarity with electronic health record documentation
