Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
Measure and record vital signs and communicate changes in condition to nursing staff
Support safe and respectful mealtime assistance and feeding when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans as directed
Help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to promote dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (state certification required)
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and team members
Ability to follow care plans, protocols, and facility policies
Reliable attendance and the ability to work scheduled shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and accurate documentation
Safe patient transfer and positioning practices
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Teamwork, empathy, and resident-centered communication
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
