Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care and support to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Support patient mobility and safe transfers with proper technique
• Document care thoroughly and communicate observations clearly to nurses and families
• Contribute to a positive, respectful atmosphere that promotes dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or ability to obtain promptly
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented long-term care or skilled nursing environment
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a caring attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient hygiene
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety procedures
• Good documentation and reporting practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and safe patient transfers
