Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with respect and dignity
Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with procedures and follow care plans closely
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
Promote a safe, clean environment through infection control and safety practices
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must be valid in Pennsylvania)
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in basic patient care and ADLs
Reliable vital signs measurement and documentation
Understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
Good observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care and teamwork
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting systems is a plus
